Low Carb Keto Biscuits
When beginning a keto diet, one of the first items to cut in your diet is bread. Sometimes though I would like a piece of bread along with my cheese or snack, and it took me a while to find a keto-friendly bread recipe, and I have finally gotten to this great recipe.
This is almost like a biscuit bread and it’s quick and easy to make! You can also flavor it with some of your favorite herbs like basil.
Let’s get started:
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ almond flour
- 2 eggs
- ¼ cup of heavy cream
- ¼ cup of melted butter
- ½ cup of cheddar cheese
- 2 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
Steps:
- Mix the dry ingredients together
- Add the melted butter and mix
- Add the eggs
- Add the baking powder and mix
- Add your heavy cream
- Mix your dry and wet ingredients really well
- Scoop out your portions with your ice cream scoop onto a parchment sheet on a tray
- Bake in the oven, It’s ready to go, enjoy!
You can enjoy this in different ways,
You can top it with some cream cheese and nicely cute cucumbers or tomatoes… You can have it for breakfast with a sunny side up egg (the best way to eat)… You can slice it into small bits and enjoy it as a snack with some dip!
